PROMISES THE PERPETUAL CONTINUANCE OF THE CHURCH

“For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the
LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain” (Isaiah 66:22).

“Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of
the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts
is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also
shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be
measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of
Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD” (Jeremiah 31:35-37).

“In the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed:
and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these
kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever” (Daniel 2:44).

“As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words
which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor
out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever” (Isaiah 59:21).
