PROMISES OF CHRIST’S SECOND COMING — THAT CHRIST WILL COME AGAIN

“Judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of
darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts” (1Corinthians 4:5).

“Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge,
shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing”
(2Timothy 4:8).

“The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with
the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be
