Pastor saves President Trump from a poisonous spider bite
At a recent White House meeting in the Oval Office, Pastor Mark Burns saved US President Donald Trump from a possible poisonous spider bite.
Christian Post reports that a group of evangelicals had met in the Oval Office for a meeting with the President on December 11 when the incident occurred.
Burns, pastor of the Harvest Praise and Worship Center in Easley, South Carolina, then posted a video, sharing how he saw a woman climbing the president’s back during the meeting and knew he had to take action.
His instinct, he shares, was “kill the spider and protect Donald Trump.” “He could not stand spiders, he was always afraid of spiders, but because he was the president of the United States of America, and I saw him literally running towards his neck,” he said.
Burns ended up hitting Trump on the back to kill the spider. He said everyone in the room seemed to have been surprised, wondering what had happened. Then, the spider for all to see and joked: “I saved you, Mr. President I deserve a medal”.
Burns also said that Trump was not moved in spite of the unexpected and that he was a good athlete. After realizing what had happened, everyone laughed. It turns out that the spider was a yellow sac spider that is poisonous and “has cytotoxic and neurotoxic, mild and local effects”.
