“And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not
lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more” (Isaiah 2:4).
“Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; that
they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the
world may believe that thou hast sent me.
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that

“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and

And the cow and the bear
shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain.
The envy also of Ephraim

the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth” (Psalm 72:3, 7).
“From whom [Christ] the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint
supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the
